Lucky Ranch started with a dream — Anu's love for horses led her on a journey to find the perfect stable. In 2013, that dream grew into something more: a place where guests from around the world could experience the beauty of Lapland through authentic adventures and warm hospitality.
Anu
An animal lover since childhood and started horseback riding at the age of nine. Her strengths lie in working with horses, and at Lucky Ranch, she manages sales, marketing, and overall coordination.
Antti
The expert behind Lucky Ranch's outdoor and adventure activities. His passion for board sports began in his teens with skateboarding and later expanded to snowboarding and surfing.

We had a great stay at Lucky Lodge. The cottage is big and beautiful. The neighborhood is very quiet and very beautiful. You can find everything you need: kitchen with all facilities, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, sauna, three bedrooms. Many closets. The house is very well located, near the lake and close to the ski resort. I would definitely recommend it!

The igloos are beautiful and surprisingly comfortable, the sleeping bags keep you too warm, we were at -29°C and still slept well and warm, the warm house has everything you could need a speaker, chimney, shower, WC even wifi.

Our stay with Antti was incredible!!! We love every part of this place. Everything perfectly designed and prepared to guarantee a magnificent stay. We had an experience of a lifetime. We also had the opportunity to do the horse ride with Anu and it was wonderful. They are both very nice people. Gino (dog) is also an amazing host. I only have good wishes for this family, everyone should live this experience and meet them. It was just like their name: I'm very LUCKY to find this RANCH.

We stayed at Antti's property or 2 nights - one in an igloo and one in a cabin. Both were absolutely fantastic and very reasonable. We did a hike on one of the days in the nearby national park which was supremely beautiful. Overall highly recommended.

What a wonderful experience, what a great place!! we had a wonderful time, we went to celebrate my husband's 40 birthday. I was worried bc of the cold, but to be honest it wasn't as bad as I thought, we slept until 2pm!!!!! we had a wonderful time. there's a lot of stuff to do while there, Annti has horses, cross-country ski, a beautiful coffee where you can eat and there's also a ski resort very close. Couldn't asked for more!! great time z totally recommend!!

Check-in time is from 16:00 (4 PM), and check-out is until 12:00 (12 PM). Snow igloos have specific check-in and check-out times that will be communicated separately upon booking. Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability.
Is breakfast included in the stay?
Breakfast is included in snow igloo accommodations. Other accommodation options have their own kitchen available. During the winter season, breakfast can also be booked in advance for other accommodations for an additional fee.

Do I need previous experience for winter activities?
Most of our activities are suitable for beginners, and our experienced guides provide full instructions and safety briefings. Some advanced activities may require prior experience.
What clothing should I bring for winter activities?
We provide thermal overalls and boots for most winter activities. We recommend bringing warm base layers, wool socks, gloves, and a warm hat. A detailed packing list will be sent with your booking confirmation.
Can activities be cancelled due to weather?
Yes, some activities may be cancelled or rescheduled due to severe weather conditions for safety reasons. In such cases, we will offer alternative activities or a full refund.
